The CAC provides an opportunity for children who have suffered physical or sexual abuse to begin the process of healing, to experience closure through the quick and efficient prosecution of perpetrators, to feel supported, and to develop resilience in the face of difficult circumstances. Through the work of a CAC, communities can show children who have suffered physical or sexual abuse that most adults are caring, supportive, and will work hard to protect them. Our goal is that children served by our local CAC will go on to be productive, happy, and functional adults who will protect future generations of children from abuse. |
